About the Artist
Lyon Hart is a queer songwriter and artist based in New York City. Combining the pop soundscapes of Troye Sivan with the songwriting prowess of Sam Smith and a unique brand of vocals all his own, Lyon Hart’s voice and music have been staples in both the EDM/Dance world and indie pop music for several years.
His voice has been featured on releases from John Dahlbäck, Elephante, Loosid, Televisor, and Sam Padrul, and his songs have appeared on NBC’s Songland, Netflix’s Lucifer, Amazon’s The New Yorker Presents, to name just a few.
In 2015 he released his debut EP With or Without Me, and in 2016 he released his debut music video Falling for You, which portrayed a tumultuous queer relationship through a seamless combination of dance and film (Matt VanDaniker, director). Falling for You has over 25 million views to date.
Lyon Hart continues to collaborate with many artists across the spectrum of pop and dance and is an advocate for queer representation in popular music both on stage and behind the scenes in production, songwriting, and the music industry writ large.

"Falling for You" Video Paintings
Released in honor of the fifth anniversary of the groundbreaking music video of the same name, the Lyon Hart Falling for You NFT collection features short video excerpts stripped of the original underlying music. These silent “video paintings” highlight the innovative vision and editing of choreographers/dancers Kile Hotchkiss and Lonnie Poupard Jr. and director Matt VanDaniker, who created a world in which the turmoil between a queer couple in crisis is portrayed through dance. This internal dance world bleeds over into a more traditional narrative music video storytelling world using filming and editing techniques that still feel cutting edge years later and stand on their own as beautiful discrete works of art.
